GET Mobile Verify offers a reliable and quick solution for accepting government-issued digital identification documents, such as Mobile Driver's Licenses (mDL). It allows businesses to verify age or identity with the use of fully compliant ISO 18013-5 cryptographical interaction modes triggered by a simple tap or scan. The system is geared towards digital identification verification and is not intended for reading physical card barcodes or detecting counterfeit physical cards, such as those stored in Apple Wallet.
Accepting mDLs from various states and internationally, GET Mobile Verify supports mDLs from Utah and any FINAL ISO 18013-5 mDL. With capabilities extending to new regions like Iowa and established locations such as Delaware, Arizona, Oklahoma, Missouri, Maryland, and Florida, among others. The service is internationally tested with countries like Colombia but has not been assessed with regions such as Queensland, Czech Republic, and South Korea. Users are encouraged to provide feedback on any testing conducted with these regions.
Utilizing multiple transaction initiation methods including NFC, QR Code, Bluetooth, and PDF417 (Barcode from a physical DL in Utah), GET Mobile Verify allows businesses to seamlessly read mDLs in a way that aligns with their operational needs. By leveraging GET Mobile Verify to scan a customer's mobile driver's license using a QR code, businesses can instantly receive undeniable proof of the customer's identity and age. This process ensures that the customer retains possession of their device at all times while safeguarding their personal information from unauthorized access.
Looking ahead, GET Mobile Verify is poised to be integrated into the GET Mobile suite of premium services in 2023, offering businesses a robust and forward-looking solution for digital identification verification.
